Electricity network performance reporting

NSW Trade & Investment - Resources & Energy Division (under the provisions of the Electricity Supply Act 1995) requires that each network operator produce an annual report covering the following major issues concerning the operation of their networks:

  • Network management including complaints
  • Network planning including demand management
  • Asset management including quality of supply
  • Reliability
  • Public safety
  • Network employee safety
  • Customer installation safety
  • Contestable work scheme
  • Bushfire risk management
  • Public electrical safety awareness campaigns

The reports are based on a Transmission network service provider annual report outline (PDF 186KB) and a Distribution network service provider annual report outline (PDF 374KB) issued by the former Department of Water and Energy.
