Independent report into forecasting methodology of the Lismore to Dumaresq transmission line proposal

TransGrid is proposing to construct a new high voltage transmission line to meet future demand needs of the North Coast region.

In response to community concerns regarding the necessity for the project the Government commissioned an independent review by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. The review assessed the forecasting methodologies used by Country Energy and TransGrid in determining demand projections for the region into the future.

The independent report has found that the processes and approaches used by Country Energy and TransGrid were appropriate. A copy of the report is available here:
