Network connections - Electricity service and installation rules

The Service and Installation Rules for NSW cover the electricity distributors’ requirements for the connection of electrical installations to the distribution network. The Rules are used by electricians and accredited service providers.

The Service and Installation Rules for NSW working group made up of utility and industry stakeholders has produced a revised July 2011 edition. The working group will continue to meet regularly to review the document and issue amendments where necessary. Please refer queries about the Rules or their interpretation to the local electricity distributor.
