Energy

Trade & Investment NSW is focused on helping determine how New South Wales can:

  • distribute safe, sufficient, reliable and cost-competitive energy to consumers;
  • have a significant role in the growing national energy market;
  • encourage private investment in New South Wales;
  • support, regulate and monitor the New South Wales energy industry.

The Department has strong relationships with the Commonwealth Government, other state and territory governments, energy industry participants and the community.
