Trade & Investment NSW is focused on helping determine how New South Wales can:

- have a significant role in the growing national energy market;
- encourage private investment in New South Wales;
- support, regulate and monitor the New South Wales energy industry.
The Department has strong relationships with the Commonwealth Government, other state and territory governments, energy industry participants and the community.
